Glass Doors

Like most aspects of the bathroom, your shower door must be both functional and stylish. This presents a unique challenge during the bathroom remodel process.

Glass shower doors have many design benefits over traditional curtains or door-less showers. They let in plenty of light, highlight design elements in the shower like tile or grout, and make the entire space feel much larger. Picking the right type of glass shower door is heavily dependent on the size of your shower space, since the door’s primary function is to keep water in the shower and off the floor.

If your space is suitable for a glass shower door, there are a range of styles to choose from:

– Sliding Shower Doors: Ideal for smaller shower/tub spaces, sliding glass doors come in many styles like semi-frameless or barn door. These types of glass shower doors offer a clean, simple look perfect for many bathrooms.

– Frameless Shower Doors: These doors give your shower space a spa-like feel and can make your bathroom feel larger by letting more light in than other styles. Frameless doors can be custom built to the exact specifications of your shower space.

– Specialty Glass: If you’re looking for a more private shower space, Devine Bath offers a range of specialty glasses. Frosted glass can come in many different colors and patterns, while tinted or opaque glass doors complement different varieties of stone and pebble. Rain glass creates privacy through its textured construction and provides a sleek, modern look.

Specialty coatings are another option to add to your glass shower door. These can improve your door’s ability to repel water and are great low-maintenance options.

  1. I’ve always wanted a beautiful bathroom, so now that we have decided to get the house remodeled starting next month, I want to get shower screens to replace our old shower curtains while we’re at it. Thank you for suggesting that we go for frameless shower doors if we want to make our bathrooms feel larger by allowing more light inside and leaving more space. I’ll take note of this while I look for a glass company to hire for the installation of our shower screens soon.
